⭐️ Your mission ⭐️
Inbound Sales at Alan are the human touch for all of our self-serve (yet to be) customers.
Your mission is to support independent workers and very small companies [1 to 5 employees] into their purchasing journey to become delighted Alan customers: reaching-out to advise them on most relevant insurance products.
You will learn and master our smart and soft sales approach rooted in our empathetic mindset. This method stems from the concept that the prospect experience is an inseparable piece of the overall Alan customer experience. The self-serve sales, thus, is expected to make this experience pleasant, instructive and delightful by leveraging the most relevant and personalized messaging and materials (Smart) and by defining the high-touch strategy that suits best each prospect (Soft).
This is a newly created role within the team.
You will be directly responsible for:
- Educating prospects and providing inspiring arguments so they go for our one-stop health partner solution
- Maximizing the sales results on insurance and prevoyance products
- Influencing the internal discussions about our self-serve strategy

- You role is to optimize an already profitable business so we accelerate even more toward profitability
- You will close deals every single day of the year, which is very stimulating
- You will contribute to build a new role within the Sales Community, getting involved in tooling and processes discussions
- You will help building the playbook of best practices to close deals in one shot
- You will become an insurance expert and learn to master our products in order to confidently answer questions & objections from prospects
- You will contribute to making our products even better by sharing feedback and improving the self-serve experience for our members

You will be a good fit to join Alan's Sales team if you have the following skills:
- You are fluent in both English and French
- You excel at actively listening to prospect’s needs and pain points to provide the most relevant solution
- You are assertive and have the unique ability to drive a sales in just one call
- Analytical skills: you have the ability to dig in self-serve performance KPIs
On the soft skill side:
- You have a passion for Sales
- You are patient and take time to understand and share with prospects
- You display a strong growth mindset
- You have the ability to fully own your topics
- You never give up and are resilient when facing tough conversations
- You have appetite for uncertainty and a challenger mindset
