We are seeking a Principal to join Anaplan’s Business Value & Strategy team in EMEA, reporting to the Global Head. This is an hybrid role, with a preference for candidates based in or near one key hub—London—to allow for hybrid collaboration.

In this high-impact role, you will aspire to a trusted advisor to our most strategic customers in shaping transformational planning visions and enterprise-wide connected roadmaps that unlock measurable business outcomes. Working in close alignment to the regional sales leaders / strategic account directors, you will combine deep industry insights, value engineering expertise, and a collaborative mindset to drive successful GTM engagements on strategic accounts. This role requires a strategic ability to connect complex business challenges to value-driven solutions, effective communication of the economic potential to customers and collaborative GTM execution with internal stakeholders.

You will be a strategic advisor and transformation catalyst, shaping the way Anaplan engages on strategic customer accounts — helping translate customer ambition into tangible value.

  • Influence GTM strategy: Partner closely with regional sales leaders and strategic account directors to shape and execute high-impact account strategies.
  • Executive narrative ownership: Craft and deliver compelling connected planning and decision excellence narratives for CxO and senior executive audiences, inspiring vision and urgency.
  • Value Quantifier: Develop and validate economic and business cases, ROI models, and investment narratives to drive decision-making at the highest level.
  • Internal leadership: Mentor account teams on value-led engagement approaches, embedding best practices.
  • Scalable transformation: Build frameworks, playbooks, and methodologies that elevate both internal teams and customer engagements globally.

Your Impact

  • Shape and influence enterprise-wide transformation strategies for top-tier account; set strategic direction for BVS in region/EMEA context.
  • Facilitate multi-level stakeholder alignment, from operational teams to the C-suite, ensuring planning visions are tied to tangible outcomes.
  • Lead executive workshops to challenge current thinking, uncover latent transformation opportunities across finance, supply chain, sales, and workforce planning, and translate them into actionable enterprise-wide connected roadmaps.
  • Partner with regional/global Sales leadership to shape GTM approach, account prioritization, and executive engagement strategies
  • Integrate competitive and industry insights into account strategies to strengthen Anaplan’s positioning.
  • Shape global BVS methodologies, thought leadership assets, and executive-level narratives

Your Qualifications

  • Highly experienced in strategic consulting, value engineering, transformation advisory, or related executive-facing roles to include CxO audiences, driving engagements through structured problem-solving and storytelling
  • Proven track record of influencing GTM strategies, embedding value-focused approaches in the sales cycles and winning transformational deals in collaboration with sales leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise planning processes across one of more functional areas – finance, supply chain, sales, and workforce domains.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel for customer and internal engagements (50–75% post-remote environment).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Consulting background (Tier 1/Tier 2) and/or enterprise SaaS value advisory experience.
  • Creative problem-solver with a growth mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Strong facilitation and executive storytelling abilities.
  • Experience developing cross-functional transformation roadmaps for large enterprises.
