At least three years of experience with Figma (design tool)

What You'll Be Working On

As a Product Designer at Duet, you will play a crucial role in the development of our products, ensuring that they are not only visually appealing but also highly functional and user-centric. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and user researchers, to create products that solve real-world problems and exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Talk with customers to gain insights into what they are looking for that we do not deliver
  • Collaborate with the CEO & CTO to develop a longer term vision and roadmap
  • Create high fidelity prototypes for our engineering team to build from
  • Work with engineers to build an incredible compelling user experience
  • Find opportunities for improvement in the user experience and help execute on them with the engineering team
  • Communicate with other team members on different platforms to ensure a consistent and smooth experience for our users
  • User-Centered Design: Conduct user research to gain insights into user needs, behaviors, and pain points. Translate these insights into intuitive and user-friendly product designs.
  • Design Prototyping: Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to visualize and communicate design concepts effectively. Iterate on designs based on user feedback and usability testing.
  • Visual Design: Develop high-quality visual designs that adhere to brand guidelines and enhance the overall user experience. Consider typography, color theory, and graphic elements to create visually compelling interfaces.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on design goals and product objectives. Collaborate with developers to ensure the successful implementation of designs.
  • Usability Testing: Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to gather user feedback and validate design decisions. Use data-driven insights to refine and improve designs.
  • Design Documentation: Create and maintain design documentation, including design specifications, style guides, and design systems, to ensure consistency across the product.
  • Stay Updated: Stay current with industry trends, design tools, and best practices. Share your knowledge with the team and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
