About the Team The Datacenter Development team is responsible for site selection, acquisition and delivery. We conduct deep analysis and form strategic partnership in the area of energy (both conventional and renewable) and land. Responsibilities: As the Energy business development & commercial manager you will be responsible for the following: - Conduct due diligence and maintain an inventory of energy situation in the APAC region, covering grid, generation and decarbonization. - Co-formulate Data Center site selection strategy. - Work closely with regional public policy lead to engage and build relationships with energy regulators. - Lead and develop strategic partnership with Government, utility companies, consultants and developers. - Own energy-related deals and agreements.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or any Engineering discipline Good knowledge of the energy business including power & renewables market Good in financial modeling and analysis Willing to travel frequently on short notice Proven years of relevant working experience Able to multi-task and operate in a dynamic environment Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a similar role within the energy industry ByteDance is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives.
