Responsibilities
About Global Payment The Global Payment team of Bytedance provides payment solutions - including payment acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, reconciliations, and so on to ensure that our users have a smooth and secure payment experience on ByteDance platforms including TikTok. About the Team The Payment Network team in Global Payment ensures a secure, professional and efficient overseas payment solution, helping businesses to unblock payment channels and effectively assisting overseas business and product expansion. This includes tasks such as building general service capabilities, payment instruction orchestration engine, etc. We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship from May 2025 onwards. Responsibilities: - Payment Strategy Development: Support regional strategy leads to developing comprehensive and forward-thinking payment strategies aligned with overall business objectives and growth goals. - Market Research & Analysis: Analyze industry trends and gather market and sector insights to stay updated on developments in the ecommerce and payments industry, market changes, and emerging technologies. - Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with key stakeholders to facilitate cross-departmental collaboration. - Project Management: Support the successful execution of payment-related initiatives, ensuring timely project delivery.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications - Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher, with a background in business administration, finance, or related fields preferred. - Understanding of payment industry trends and emerging technologies; prior internship experience in investment, consulting, accounting, or finance is a plus. - Strong analytical and Excel skills, with experience in strategic research, data modeling, and business valuation. - Analytical mindset, capable of translating data into actionable insights and strategies, and proficient in interpreting financial statements. - Project management experience, with a focus on delivering results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment; ability to adapt to cross-timezone collaboration in a challenging and flexible work setting. Preferred Qualifications - Experience in market research is a plus. - Fluency in Portuguese and/or Spanish is preferred, candidate will be working closely with LATAM teams.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Hourly) - Campus Intern

The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $35- $35.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Interns have day one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and more. Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year).
