Responsibilities
Team Introduction Log Service (TLS) is a one-stop observable SAAS Cloud Service provided by ByteDance to Volcano Engine Public Cloud users based on the group's EB-level log platform. It supports functions such as log collection, massive storage, retrieval and analysis, monitoring and alarming, and data lake visualization. Log service is a key cloud product on ByteDance Group and Volcano Engine, with huge market potential. It covers cutting-edge technology stacks such as Distributed Storage, Big Data Analysis, high-performance Client, SQL engine, full-text search engine, message queue, etc. The team is in a stage of rapid development and this is an excellent opportunity. Responsibilities - Design and develop cloud-native logging services (TLS, Tinder Log Service). - Store, retrieve, analyze, and process massive-scale log data. - Architect and optimize large-scale, high-concurrency distributed systems (focus on high availability, performance, and cost efficiency).
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or related fields. - Proficient in one or more programming languages: Go, Python, Java, C, or C++, with experience in server-side multithreading and high-concurrency frameworks. - Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms. - Familiarity with network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP). Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in developing logging service platforms. - Experience with PB-scale retrieval systems. - Background in big data systems (e.g., OLAP, distributed computing). - Familiarity with big data technologies such as Flume, Kafka, Hadoop, HBase, Spark, Storm, ELK, ETL, Hive, ZooKeeper, Elasticsearch, Lucene, etc. - Strong motivation to learn new technologies, excellent communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to solve complex problems.
