Responsibilities
Team Introduction- Risk Control - Global Business team is responsible for supporting different businesses to drive sustained business growth, building trust, and safeguarding ByteDance's overall interests by identifying operational improvements and establishing robust controls. Our goal is to support teams across the organization in identifying and managing risks related to cost, efficiency, and reputation. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Risk & Controls – Global Business team. In this role, you will support cross-functional projects that improve how we engage stakeholders, organize internal workflows, and enhance team knowledge-sharing. You will be a key player in helping us build sustainable processes and documentation that enable our team to perform at its best. Assist in organizing and tracking global projects across the Risk & Controls team, ensuring alignment with stakeholder needs and timelines. 2. Support the development of team documentation, including building out and maintaining a centralized wiki for knowledge sharing and onboarding. 3. Help define and map team roles and responsibilities for key risk and control workstreams. 4. Coordinate internal communications to support stakeholder engagement initiatives. 5. Take part in administrative tasks such as project planning support, meeting coordination, and process documentation. 6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams across regions to gather inputs and align on goals. 7. Provide ad hoc support to the team as needed to improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications 1. Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Risk Management, Technology, Communications, or a related field. 2. Strong organizational and project management skills. 3. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. 4. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment. Preferred Qualifications 1. Experience with collaboration tools such as Confluence, Notion, Google Workspace, or similar platforms is a plus. 2. Interest in technology, social media, and global business. 3. Able to commit to a 12-week internship beginning in July or September.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Hourly) - Campus Intern The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $23.75- $23.75.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Interns have day one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and more. Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year).
