Responsibilities: - Exploration of novel camera sensors and systems for the improvement of performances. - Develop optical design and simulation software for AR/VR optical systems. - Develop optical system prototypes (bench-top and head-mounted) to inform design decisions. - Work closely with internal technology teams and external industry partners to develop advanced optical technologies. - Communicate design and development progress across collaboration teams.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: - Pursuing Ph.D. in Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience. - Knowledge and experience in at least one of the following: Imaging optics design, Image quality analysis, Computer graphics, Visual Optics, or Optical testing and metrology - Knowledge and experience in programming languages such as Python, C++, Matlab. - Excellent communication skills; highly self-motivated, solid teamwork skills.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Hourly) - Campus Intern

The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $75- $75.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Interns have day one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and more. Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year).
