Responsibilities

Team Introduction: The Internal Audit team plans and executes audit projects in accordance with the audit plan and risk assessments, evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of current-state financial, compliance, and operational processes and controls. We advise business functions in addressing risks and control violations, developing sound solutions, and tracking and reporting on the progress of process and compliance improvements. This position is designed for an individual based in Singapore with a strong understanding of business and financial processes and controls, sound knowledge of the audit process, good analytical skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. We are seeking a self-motivated candidate with strong project management and audit planning skills, and effective communication and presentation abilities when engaging with senior management. In addition, this person should be able to multitask, collaborate beyond their immediate department, and influence organizational objectives or support the achievement of organizational goals. Responsibilities: - Develop audit plans and perform risk assessments and audit testing independently. - Lead all phases of the audit lifecycle—from planning and fieldwork to reporting and follow-up. - Review audit workpapers and deliverables, providing value-adding feedback to team members. - Quantify materiality levels and clearly articulate business risks associated with audit findings. - Develop continuous risk monitoring strategies and collaborate with Data Scientists to build monitoring dashboards and data-driven insights. - Alert management when concerns arise and offer actionable recommendations and solutions. - Prepare clear, concise, and well-structured audit reports for senior management. - Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely remediation of audit findings. - Ensure audit activities comply with internal methodologies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements. - Support periodic updates to audit methodologies, templates, and best practices to improve audit quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field. - More than 5 years of working experience in internal audit, risk control, or related functions. - Strong understanding of internal controls, risk assessment methodologies, and audit practices. - Strong written and communication skills, with the ability to present audit findings clearly. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Willingness to travel for business up to 30%. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in the Internet, Telecom, High-Tech, or other fast-paced industries, preferably within global teams or multinational companies (MNCs). - Familiarity with data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Python, Qlik Sense) is a plus. - Professional certifications such as CIA, ACCA, CICPA, CPA, or CISA are preferred. - Experience with audit management systems or GRC tools. - Strong stakeholder management skills and experience interacting with senior management.
