Canva
Job Description
Join the team redefining how the world experiences design.
Hey, g'day, mabuhay, kia ora, 你好, hallo, vítejte!
Thanks for stopping by. We know job hunting can be a little time consuming and you're probably keen to find out what's on offer, so we'll get straight to the point.
Where and how you can work
Our flagship campus is in Sydney. We also have a campus in Melbourne and co-working spaces in Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. But you have choice in where and how you work, we trust our Canvanauts to choose the balance that empowers them and their team to achieve their goals.
What you’d be doing in this role
As Canva scales, change continues to be part of our DNA — and this role is no exception. While the current focus is on helping shape how Canva drives value, communicates plan differentiation, and grows our self-serve business, the scope may evolve based on business needs and your strengths. And we like to think that’s all part of the fun.
At the moment, this role is focused on:
Helping shape how we price, package, and position our plans — in partnership with Growth, Strategy, Marketing, and Product
Leading go-to-market planning for pricing changes, plan evolution, and new feature launches
Turning user and market insights into clear product positioning, messaging, and segmentation strategies
Driving internal alignment and readiness through playbooks, comms, and stakeholder engagement
Supporting the rollout of new plan structures, pricing, or monetisation initiatives — with a user-first lens
Contributing to broader growth initiatives across Pro and Teams, especially where they intersect with value comms, packaging, or lifecycle
You're probably a match if
through thoughtful monetisation, smart packaging, and great user experience. You enjoy solving messy problems, thrive in ambiguity, and know how to turn insight into strategy — and strategy into action. You’re excited by the idea of using pricing and packaging as levers for user value and business growth, even if it’s a space you’re keen to grow into.
We’d love to hear from you if:
You have strong experience in product marketing for SaaS, B2B, or consumer products — and are curious about monetisation, pricing, or packaging
You’ve led positioning, messaging, segmentation, or GTM work that’s driven real growth
You’re confident using data, insights, and experimentation to shape strategy
You’re a strategic thinker who excels at simplifying the complex
You’re collaborative, low-ego, and comfortable influencing cross-functional teams
You bring strong storytelling skills and a deep understanding of user psychology and value perception
You know how to build alignment, bring teams on the journey, and make big changes feel seamless
You’re excited to stretch into monetisation — or deepen your experience in pricing, packaging, and plan optimisation
About the team
At Canva, Product Marketing sits at the heart of product and growth strategy. We turn customer insights into compelling product narratives and go-to-market strategies that drive impact across the business.
Within the Monetisation & Growth PMM team, our focus is on unlocking and scaling monetisation through product-led growth. We connect users to plan value — through pricing, packaging, audience insights, positioning, lifecycle, and GTM — to fuel growth across Canva’s self-serve business.
We work in close partnership with Product, Growth, Marketing, Finance, and Sales to define what we sell, how we sell it, and how we communicate value to users. Our remit spans packaging, pricing, self-serve growth and activation, user and market insights, and GTM strategy for pricing updates, packaging shifts, launches, and key monetisation moments.
Together, we’re building the pricing and monetisation engine that will power Canva’s next stage of growth — ensuring every user can find a plan that meets their needs and delivers exceptional value.
