Where and how you can work
Our flagship campus is in Sydney, Australia, but with many of our Canvanauts calling the Philippines home, our office in Manila is a buzzing place. Whether your role needs you in the office, at home or a bit of both, we've created an environment that truly empowers you to thrive.
At the moment, this role is focused on:
- Own the candidate experience from start to finish - ensuring every interaction is clear, thoughtful, and reflective of Canva’s culture.
- Keep things running smoothly across time zones and schedules, using tools like GoodTime, Workday, and Slack to manage interviews and updates.
- Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to deliver accurate, efficient scheduling while balancing shifting priorities and last-minute changes.
- Find smarter ways to work by identifying opportunities to improve processes, reduce manual effort, and use data to influence change.
- Communicate proactively and clearly, ensuring stakeholders and candidates always know what’s happening and what to expect next.
- Support and mentor teammates, sharing learnings and helping others navigate tricky scheduling or system challenges.
You’re probably a match if:
- You have experience in a fast-paced coordination or operations role, with recruitment experience being a strong advantage.
- You’re confident using scheduling platforms, recruitment software, and digital tools like GoodTime, G Suite, and AI-powered solutions.
- You bring strong organisational and prioritisation skills, balancing competing deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
- You have a genuine love for process, understanding the value of systems and how to use them to create consistency and clarity.
- You communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally, across a range of audiences.
- You’re passionate about people, teamwork, and creating thoughtful, seamless experiences for others.
About the team
We’re a tight-knit global crew of Recruitment Coordinators, based across Australia, the US, and Manila - all working together to make every hiring experience smooth, human, and genuinely memorable. We partner closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and interviewers to keep things running seamlessly behind the scenes, often juggling time zones, calendars, and priorities with a smile.
We’re curious, resourceful, and a little obsessed with finding better ways to do things - whether that’s using automation to save time, refining how we communicate, or creating magical candidate moments that make people fall in love with Canva.
