Position Summary
Report Quality Assurance Specialist review applicable case information, testing ordered, and final reports generated to ensure all pieces are accurate and in accord, so that the information that is being provided to clients is of the highest quality.
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for quality assurance of all outgoing client reports.
Confirm information being sent is accurate and presented properly in documentation to the requested physician.
Reviews all applicable case information to ensure necessary documents are present and all specimen information is correct.
Performs review of reports for required Post QC requests from Evidence team.
Reviews 50 cases daily with low to no errors.
Keeps open communication with team.
Understand different testing panels.
Understand difference of Proficiency cases.
Participates in team meetings.
Responsive to pertinent emails.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
1-2 years in data entry and/or laboratory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a regulated environment (CLIA, NYS, CAP, FDA, ISO, etc.).
Physical Demands
Must possess ability to sit, stand, and/or work at a computer for long periods of time.
Visual acuity and analytical skill to distinguish fine detail; ability to pass a visual color discrimination test.
Training
All job specific, safety, and compliance training are assigned based on the job functions associated with this employee.
Other
Schedule: 11:00am-9:30pm, Monday to Thursday.
This position may require periodic travel, evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
Conditions of Employment: Individual must successfully complete pre-employment process, which includes criminal background check, drug screening, credit check ( applicable for certain positions) and reference verification.
