The Chainalysis Training Team designs and delivers impactful, engaging content to drive education on cryptocurrency technology and Chainalysis products. We ensure our customers understand the ecosystem, and are able to best use Chainalysis solutions to achieve real world results. Training specialists are the face of those educational efforts.

As a Training Specialist supporting our Public Sector customers, you’ll develop and lead training and certification programs for the world’s top investigative and compliance practitioners, both in person and virtually.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Create engaging, interactive content to teach our customers about new product offerings, launch exciting e-learning courses, and explain cryptocurrency developments to a global audience

  • Build expertise across the Chainalysis product suite, on cryptocurrency technology, and investigative, compliance & regulatory workflows - and help others develop these same skills

  • Establish trust with customers through your approachable style

  • Collaborate widely within Chainalysis, working closely with experts in customer success, product development, investigations, research, revenue and beyond to find the best way to meet our customer’s learning needs

  • Help to further develop our training programs by innovating on our current content and evolving it for the future

We’re looking for candidates who have:

  • 5+ years of experience supporting intelligence organizations as a military member, contractor, and/or government employee

  • Experience conducting money laundering investigations, financial investigations, government investigations, and/or forensic investigations, or comparable experience and a proven ability to learn new fields quickly

  • An existing understanding of illicit activity in the current National Security, Cyber, Criminal and Financial environments with an emphasis on cryptocurrency.

  • In-depth knowledge of related topics including open source/publicly available information investigations and analysis (OSINT), structured investigation techniques, dark web, counter-terrorism, financial crime, cryptocurrency tax or insider threats

  • The ability to communicate effectively across all levels of audience, from new hires to established executives

  • Experience delivering engaging presentations across virtual platforms and in live settings with large groups of attendees (100+ audience members)

  • The ability to travel on an ad-hoc basis (4-8 times a year on average); there are occasionally international travel requirements

Nice to have experience:

  • Special Operations Forces (SOF) experience

  • Experience conducting cryptocurrency analysis or investigations supporting DoD with Chainalysis or other blockchain analysis software products.

  • Spanish language proficiency

  • Previous experience as a trainer or teacher in a classroom setting

  • Strong creative skills in content development are highly desirable
