The CGS Proposal Manager will be responsible for overseeing the proposal development process, from initial solicitation review through proposal submission. You’ll own and project manage the process and associated deliverables to RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs, etc., from our US Government customers. You’ll partner with CGS Sales, Business Development, and Contract Teams to craft a timely, accurate, and thorough response to appropriately meet the requirements and solutions as outlined by our customers. Additionally, you’ll play a key role in driving operational excellence and process efficiency in the CGS GTM organization, allowing the Sales team to optimize their selling time and support revenue growth by helping to close some of our largest deals.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Lead and coordinate the proposal development process, ensuring timely and high-quality submission of proposals in response to BAAs, RFIs, and RFPs

  • Develop and implement proposal strategies and win themes, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company objectives

  • Coordinate cross functional proposal team of SMEs, technical writers, and other key stakeholders to gather insight and align and develop content, while also ensuring consistent communication and updates

  • Ensure proposals meet all government regulations and solicitation requirements, including FAR and DFARS compliance

  • Oversee proposal content development, ensuring clarity, persuasiveness, and adherence to the proposal guidelines

  • Conduct proposal reviews and provide feedback to improve content, structure, and presentation (quality control)

  • Collaborate closely with the Business Development (BD) team, to align proposal efforts with overall business development strategies and opportunities

  • Organize proposal templates and section write-ups into a proposal library for reuse

We’re looking for candidates who have:

  • At least 4 years of proposal management experience in the US Federal Government space, with a focus on software and data

    • Experience responding to RFIs, RFQs, RFPs

    • General understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) is an advantage

  • In-depth knowledge of how to analyze a solicitation and structure a proposal to be compliant, responsive, and competitive

  • Experience with Federal government opportunities and opportunity databases, such as GovWin, GSA eBuy, FedConnect, and SAM.gov

  • Demonstrated project management skills, including strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to coordinate and interact with cross-functional teams

  • The ability to identify and execute on the highest priority tasks, along with the self-awareness to know when to escalate or request help

  • A drive to solve problems and find answers

This role is ineligible for visa sponsorship.
