Job Description
The role
Checkout.com is actively looking for a strategic-thinking, resourceful and highly driven Account Manager to develop a growth strategy with a portfolio of French Enterprise merchants. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the most successful FinTech companies at a turning point of its global expansion.
You will be the owner of your portfolio’s revenue targets, and the merchants’ main point of contact post integration, thus acting as an ambassador of our brand and responsible for driving merchant satisfaction and engagement.You will work closely with our Product, Performance analysts, Risk and Engineering teams to convey merchant feedback, inform Product prioritization decisions, and ensure the highest level of service and performance to your portfolio of merchants, thus positioning yourself as a trusted advisor and key strategic partner supporting merchants’ growth, efficiency and innovation. The key for success here will be the ability to apply your business savvy knowledge, strategic analysis skills and the required gravitas to effectively communicate and influence at all levels internally and externally to achieve win-win scenarios, develop and promote the value proposition in line with your merchants’ specific needs and ambitions.

How you’ll make an impact
- Developing a growth strategy with a portfolio of French Enterprise and Mid-Market merchants, and owning revenue and merchant engagement targets.
- Crafting merchant-specific strategic account development plans focusing on payment performance, revenue generation and merchant satisfaction
- Building high touch, consultative and positive relationships and multi-stakeholder strategies with our merchants through regular and open communications
- Delivering expertise, education, and guidance to merchants as they craft and complete a comprehensive, global payments strategy.
- Analyzing merchant’s performance and provide recommendations to improve the payment flow / revenue
- Focusing on exceeding strategic and financial targets of our merchants by analyzing active payment products, transaction volumes, and service levels
- Understanding the intricacies of our products, services and partner networks thoroughly to leverage as needed to meet our merchants’ needs
- Collaborating with various teams across the company (e.g. Sales, Legal, Integration, Support, Performance, Product, Risk) to ensure an outstanding merchant experience
Qualifications
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in a B2B Account Management, Relationship Management or broader commercial role in the Tech industry. (FinTech and/or Payments experience is a plus)
- A strategic problem solver with excellent project management and analytical skills
- Good knowledge of today’s major e commerce and payments technologies, players and major future trends
- Customer driven and results driven and able to establish robust relationships at C level with assigned high profile customer base
- Multifaceted approach adapting to changing requirements with the ability to balance multiple opportunities concurrently
- Proven consultative sales abilities and proven ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, collaborating across cross functional departments and influencing all levels within an external organization
- Fast learner with great adaptability
