Job Description
Technical Account Manager, Crypto & iGaming
As an Enterprise Technical Account Manager (TAM), you will be a trusted advisor and strategic partner to our key clients, ensuring their success and satisfaction with our payment solutions. You will leverage your technical expertise and relationship-building skills to understand their unique business needs, proactively identify opportunities for optimization, and deliver exceptional service. This role is critical to fostering long-term partnerships and driving client growth.
What you’ll be doing:
- Strategic Relationship Management: Cultivate and expand deep, strategic relationships with key enterprise clients, acting as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor for all technical matters.
- Customer Success: Understand our clients' business needs and goals, proactively identify opportunities to optimize their payment solutions, and ensure successful adoption and utilization of our products.
- Technical Expertise & Problem Solving: Provide expert-level technical guidance and troubleshooting, resolving complex issues efficiently and minimizing disruption to clients' payment infrastructure. This includes a deep understanding of their integrations and the interplay of our products.
- Training and Demo: Help upselling efforts with merchant demonstrations and technical training - hold workshops and refreshers on our product offering to keep clients up-to-date with new features and deliverables.
- Project Management: Lead and coordinate the addition of new payment solutions as well as technical migrations for clients as they expand with Checkout.com, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery within agreed timelines and specifications.
- Product & Market Insights: Gather and analyse client feedback, translating it into actionable insights for our product roadmap. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes (e.g., PSD2, SCA) within the payments landscape, sharing relevant information with clients.
- Performance Analysis & Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track client success and identify areas for improvement. Provide regular reports and insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a technical account management, solutions engineering, or related client-facing role, preferably within the SaaS or FinTech industry.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business) or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with data analysis and the ability to translate data into actionable insights for both clients and internal teams.
- Familiarity with Payments industry regulations and technical frameworks (3DS, SCA, AVS, MIT)
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Results-oriented with a focus on exceeding client expectations and driving business growth.
Additional Information
New York City law requires Checkout.com to include in job postings a reasonable estimated salary range for this position. However, exact compensation may vary subject to several factors such as a candidate’s level, relevant experience, qualifications, skills and proficiency for the role.
The information provided here is applicable to those working in the New York City office. However, this role may also open to applicants from other US locations and will be advised on the relevant pay for that location.
For regular full-time employees in New York City, the estimated base salary for this role is $95,000 to $110,000 per year. Additionally, this role is eligible to earn quarterly incentives.
