Job Description

We are looking for a Junior HR Associate to join our team in Barcelona, reporting to the Regional People Lead. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth HR processes, enhancing employee experience, and being a culture champion across our region. Amongst other duties, this role will be primarily responsible for the below :

  • Be the face of the People team as first responders to the business on all People related queries

  • Be responsible for payroll management, providing key support to our payroll team based in London to ensure accurate and timely processing of salaries.

  • Handling labor law issues, to ensure full compliance with current legal and regulatory standards

  • Oversee HR administrative tasks, including drafting contracts, addendums, employment verification letters, and managing probation periods for our employees with Spanish and Portuguese contracts. #noroomforapproximation

  • Own and resolve HR-related tickets across the European region, with a particular focus on Southern Europe.

  • Manage employee benefits, including meal vouchers and transportation allowances.

  • Act as the Workday Master, ensuring accurate data management and process improvements.

  • Lead and enhance onboarding/offboarding/relocation processes, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires. #bettereveryday

  • Serve as the first point of contact for the Barcelona office, taking ownership of the office experience and fostering a welcoming environment. #beingtogether

  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve HR processes, going the extra mile to enhance the employee experience.

Qualifications

About You

  • 1-2 years of HR administration experience in Spain, preferably in an international environment.

  • Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.

  • Experience working with Workday (or similar HRIS) is a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proactive mindset with a passion for process improvement and employee engagement.

  • Fluency in English and Spanish; additional European languages are a plus (French)
