About the Role

At Chime, we’re making AI a trusted co-pilot for every Chimer. The Chimer Productivity team accelerates our pace of innovation by helping teams work smarter and faster through AI. As the Product Operations Manager, AI Enablement, you will own the strategy, implementation, and evolution of Chime’s common AI tool stack—ensuring Chimers have safe, effective, and powerful tools that amplify their productivity.

You’ll act as the connective tissue between Product, Engineering, Security, Legal, and functional teams, bringing rigor, experimentation, and empathy to how Chime scales AI adoption. You’ll oversee our portfolio of enterprise AI tools, define standards for how new tools are evaluated and onboarded, and measure how effectively they deliver value across the company.

We’re looking for a technical program manager who is both systems-minded and people-oriented—someone who can translate complex requirements into scalable, secure systems that empower Chimers to get more done.

The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $157,590.00 and up to $218,900.00. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.

In this role, you can expect to

  • Own Chime’s enterprise AI tool ecosystem. Manage vendor relationships, licenses, renewals, and access for existing tools, and help determine which tools we should add/sunset.
  • Define and evolve our Common AI Tool Standards. Partner with the GenAI Platform team and functional AI leads to establish guidelines on data privacy, security, and ethical use.
  • Evaluate new tools and build-vs-buy decisions. Lead assessments of third-party AI vendors, ensuring they meet Chime’s technical, compliance, and ROI criteria.
  • Drive adoption and training. Collaborate with Learning & Development and vendor partners to ensure Chimers are equipped to use AI effectively in their day-to-day roles.
  • Measure impact and usage. Track adoption, utilization, and satisfaction metrics across teams to identify where AI tools are driving value—and where additional support is needed.
  • Partner cross-functionally. Work with Engineering, Security, and Compliance to ensure tools meet all governance, risk, and data handling standards.
  • Pilot and scale internal AI solutions. When third-party tools don’t fit, partner with internal engineering teams to develop lightweight, high-ROI custom AI applications.
  • Be a trusted advisor. Help functional partners identify opportunities to use AI safely and effectively to improve processes, automation, and decision-making.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise AI tools, including evaluation, onboarding, integration, and support.
  • Coordinate the rollout of new tools or capabilities across Chime, ensuring alignment with our AI Governance framework and Responsible AI principles.
  • Develop documentation and internal standards for how Chimers use AI tools safely, effectively, and ethically.
  • Create dashboards and insights on AI usage, adoption, and productivity impact.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Security teams to validate vendor controls and ensure ongoing compliance with Chime’s AI risk policies.
  • Facilitate vendor partnerships, renewals, and performance reviews to ensure tools deliver measurable ROI.
  • Serve as a thought partner to business units exploring AI-driven workflows, helping scope pilots and connect them to enterprise infrastructure.

To thrive in this role, you have

  • 5+ years of experience in product operations, product management, or a related role within a tech company.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience in the Generative AI space, with proven expertise in developing and implementing AI-driven solutions.
  • Previous experience as an AI champion or advocate in an organization, leading AI initiatives that had a measurable impact.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Generative AI tooling (e.g., language models, text-to-image tools) and customer-facing AI products.
  • Strong understanding of AI frameworks, platforms, and ethical considerations in deploying AI technologies.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple high-impact projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, data scientists, and customer-facing teams.

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • Prior experience building or managing AI-powered SaaS products.
  • Familiarity with MLOps frameworks and AI model lifecycle management.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
