As an Account Development Associate, your role is to engage with leads: chefs, owners, and purchasing managers from restaurants that already order from our clients (food distributors). These distributors share lists of their customers with Choco to persuade and onboard customers to use the app.

You’ll be part of a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment, where goals can shift monthly as we scale and iterate. You’ll take full ownership of your pipeline, collaborate deeply with teammates, and bring focus and understanding to every conversation. This isn’t traditional sales. You’re not cold calling or closing deals. You’re helping restaurant teams start using a free ordering app that’s been recommended to them by their food distributor, who are paying partners of Choco’s. You will also offer support to our food distributor customers.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Reaching out to leads daily via phone, WhatsApp, email, and text — no cold prospecting

  • Explaining how and why their supplier wants them to start ordering via Choco

  • Onboarding restaurants to either Choco’s standard app or a white-labeled version

  • Managing your own pipeline and converting restaurants into active, retained users

  • Meeting dynamic performance targets around activation and engagement

  • Logging all interactions and insights in Salesforce

  • Collaborating cross-functionally to improve the onboarding experience

  • Taking initiative to solve problems before they reach the customer

  • Thriving in a team-first, in-office culture with constant coaching and collaboration

WE’RE EXCITED IF:

  • You have experience in restaurants, hospitality, or customer-facing roles

  • You speak fluent English; Spanish is a major plus as many of our restaurant partners prefer it

  • You are comfortable using computers, CRMs, and juggling multiple tools/platforms at once to get the job done

Compensation

$60,000-$68,500 OTE
