Finance and G&A Systems, Sr. Manager
ClickHouse
About ClickHouse
Established in 2009, ClickHouse leads the industry with its open-source column-oriented database system, driven by the vision of becoming the fastest OLAP database globally. The company empowers users to generate real-time analytical reports through SQL queries, emphasizing speed in managing escalating data volumes. Enterprises globally, including Lyft, Sony, IBM, GitLab, Twilio, HubSpot, and many more, rely on ClickHouse Cloud. It is available through open-source or on AWS, GCP, Azure, and Alibaba.
ClickHouse is seeking a Finance and G&A Systems Senior Manager to join our rapidly growing team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the design, optimization, and management of the systems and processes that power our Finance, People, and broader G&A functions. You’ll partner closely with stakeholders across the company to ensure our internal systems scale efficiently and support data integrity, automation, and operational excellence.
Our ideal candidate is a proactive builder — someone who thrives on creating structure from ambiguity, rolling up their sleeves to improve workflows, and driving continuous improvement. You’re equally comfortable defining long-term system strategy as you are diving into the details to make things run smoothly. This role offers the opportunity to shape foundational infrastructure and help emerging business functions mature as the company continues to scale.
Responsibilities include:
- Systems Ownership: Lead the strategy, implementation, and optimization of core G&A systems — including ERP (e.g., NetSuite), expense management (e.g., Ramp, Expensify), payroll and equity platforms, HRIS (e.g., Workday, BambooHR), FP&A (e.g., Adaptive Insights), and procurement platforms.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders in Finance, HR, Legal, and IT to understand requirements, design integrated solutions, and maintain data consistency across platforms.
- Project Management: Oversee system implementations, integrations, and upgrades; coordinate vendors, manage timelines, and ensure successful adoption.
- Process Design & Automation: Identify and drive process improvements across G&A functions, leveraging APIs, AI-driven analytics, middleware, and native integrations
- Data Integrity & Reporting: Ensure data accuracy across systems; develop dashboards and reports that provide visibility into company-wide G&A metrics.
- Governance & Compliance: Maintain proper controls, access, and audit readiness for all G&A systems, ensuring compliance with SOX, GDPR, and internal policies.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate, select, and manage external vendors and consultants supporting systems initiatives.
What you bring:
- 10+ years of experience in Finance Systems, Business Systems, or a similar role, ideally within a high-growth technology company.
- Proven success leading end-to-end ERP or financial systems or HRIS implementations (e.g., NetSuite, BambooHR, Workday). Certification in Netsuite is required.
- Deep understanding of accounting and finance processes (order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report).
- Experience integrating systems via APIs or iPaaS tools (e.g., Workato, MuleSoft, Celigo, etc.).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business needs into scalable system designs.
- Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Prior experience with G&A systems (HRIS, legal ops, procurement) preferred.
