HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:
Be part of a remote pre-sales engineering team based in France, supporting French- and English-speaking regions across Central Europe, with a focus on technical sales expertise for channel and commercial segment coverage.
Work on sales opportunities assigned to the team, prioritizing efforts to maximize overall team productivity and profitability, as guided by the Sales Engineering Director.
Shadow and assist senior Commercial Sales Engineer in commercial sales business development for commercial segment in France.
Proactively identify and define the technical solutions required to meet customer needs, assess both met and unmet requirements, and recommend optimal solutions for both the customer and the organization.
Gather input from key solution stakeholders within the customer’s organization.
Customize technical solutions as needed to ensure they align with customer requirements.
Collaborate closely with internal Commercial, Channel & Renewal sales reps, sales support, and professional services teams to ensure solutions align with customers’ business needs.
Obtain necessary technical commitments from customer teams to facilitate deal closure.
Achieve set targets for profitable sales growth across assigned product lines, market segments, channels, and sales teams.
Actively collaborate with team members, sharing to enhance one another’s product knowledge, technical expertise, and sales skills.
Identify and pursue additional business development opportunities within customer organizations, working alongside sales teams to ensure effective engagement and advancement.
Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept sessions as required.
WE'D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
3-5 years in pre-sales with hands-on expertise in Backup & Recovery and Information Management solutions.
Fluent in both French and English is a must.
Knowledge and experience with Veritas and/or Cohesity product solutions will be an added advantage.

In-Office Expectations
Cohesity employees who are within a reasonable commute (e.g. within a forty-five (45) minute average travel time) work out of our core offices 2-3 days a week of their choosing.
