The Physical Security Coordinator - Americas, will be responsible for assisting with the implementation of the physical security strategy and operations across the Americas region. This includes promoting the safety and security of employees, assets, and facilities, and coordinating with global and regional stakeholders to address security risks and mitigate threats. The Physical Security Coordinator will be instrumental in implementing and continuously improving physical security programs to support the organization’s business objectives while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE

Strategy Implementation:

  • Execute the region’s physical security strategy in alignment with global security initiatives and business goals.
  • Implement policies, procedures, and best practices for physical security.
  • Help identify gaps in physical security measures to address emerging risks and threats.

Risk Assessment & Security Planning:

  • Assist the Director, Physical Security and EHS Lead with conducting risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement proactive security measures to protect people, property, and information.
  • Implement comprehensive security plans, including emergency response protocols, evacuation procedures, and continuity planning.
  • Assist with security audits and inspections to assess effectiveness and compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication:

  • Serve as the point of contact for security-related incidents, crises, and investigations in the Americas region.
  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders (e.g., HR, Facilities, IT, Legal) and external vendors to ensure effective integration of physical security initiatives.
  • Provide regular updates and reporting to Director, Physical Security on regional security performance, incidents, and improvements.

Training & Awareness:

  • Assist with the delivery of physical security training and awareness programs for employees across the region.
  • Promote a culture of security awareness by engaging employees in security initiatives and continuous improvement.

Incident Management & Crisis Response:

  • Assist the Director, Physical Security with the response to, and investigation of, security incidents and breaches.
  • Ensure timely reporting and resolution of incidents.
  • Assist with post-incident debriefs, analyses, and recommendations for process improvements.

WE'D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING

  • Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in security management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5-8 years of experience in physical security or related roles
  • Proven experience in multi-site security support in a corporate or enterprise environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with senior leadership, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of physical security technologies, risk management, and security systems integration.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality in sensitive matters.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, depending on the needs of the business.
  • Flexibility to respond to security incidents during off-hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to attend the office in person 3 days a week.

Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws - This position has a starting pay range as listed below. Actual salary depends upon many factors, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations, and therefore a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants. Additionally, full-time employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits framework, including health and wellness benefits, vacation, paid holidays and refresh days, 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance coverages, and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.

Pay Range :

$92,000.00-$115,000.00
