We are looking for Software Engineers who are motivated and passionate and willing to enhance Cohesity’s Products by having a knack of diagnosing problems in large bodies of complex code, understand scalability and performance and work on fixes with rapid turnaround time and high quality. You will be part of our Sustenance Engineering team and willing to work with Customer Support, System Engineers.

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE

  • Collaborate with Team members, Support, R&D, QA and Field teams to diagnose and troubleshoot complex customer issues and fix these issues.

  • Constantly work on continuous improvement and catalyzing the Issue resolution process collaboratively with Support, R&D and contribute to left shift ,right shift initiatives.

  • Work on Tools to improve troubleshooting of customer issues

  • Code/ implement defect fixes/improvements and sometimes also participate in feature development.

  • Orchestrate development and testing of patches/hot-fixes.

  • Perform in-depth root cause analysis

  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision making.

WE’D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING

  • Bachelors/Masters in Engineering or Computer Science.

  • You bring 2-12 years of experience in developing and troubleshooting large scalable distributed systems written in C/C++ on Linux and Windows Platforms. Strong coding, analytical, debugging and troubleshooting skills including use of tools such GDB, Python Debugger.

  • Ability to understand C/C++ code from a debugging perspective.

  • Problem-solver who can dive deep to solve complex problems/issues.

  • Happy to learn and probe into a pre-existing modern code base and help enhance the code base.

  • Experience in developing, sustaining and maintenance of enterprise software.

  • Looking for great communication skills.

  • Understanding of hyper-converged storage systems architecture is a big plus but not mandatory.
