About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly structured Senior Program Manager to govern and enable CoreWeave’s full lifecycle data center design and deployment processes. This role does not execute technical engineering work directly. Instead, you will build and manage the workflows, stage gates, handover kits, documentation, and operating cadence that ensure deep-dive engineering teams operate efficiently and consistently at scale.

You will partner with design, construction, site selection, operations, and R&D groups to keep owners, actions, decisions, and risks on track, ensuring downstream teams receive complete, high-quality information. In parallel, you will help identify, prototype, and productionise new technologies that streamline information flow, reduce cycle times, and improve program-wide technical outcomes.

Travel to US data center sites and CoreWeave hubs is required.

Key Responsibilities

Process Governance & Enablement

  • Map current → target workflows across Site Selection, Design, Handover, Buildout, and Deployment.
  • Define program governance, including stage gates, entry/exit criteria, RACI, and a unified program playbook.
  • Standardise and maintain handover kits (Design Basis, BoMs, as-builts, test results, commissioning outputs, lessons learned).
  • Implement defect and escape tracking mechanisms, including root cause analysis and continuous improvement loops.

Program Management Oversight (Not Execution)

  • Run the operating cadence: stand-ups, risk reviews, cross-functional syncs, and steering meetings.
  • Maintain live RAID logs, action trackers, dependency maps, and decision registers with SLAs.
  • Drive cross-team unblocking, escalate critical-path risks, and ensure clear owner accountability.
  • Monitor and audit process adherence, publishing compliance reporting and follow-ups.

Information Systems & Reporting

  • Establish a single source of truth for milestones, risks, decisions, and handovers.
  • Define, measure, and report KPIs such as lead time, cycle time, first-pass yield, on-time %, and decision latency.
  • Ensure documentation hygiene, version control, audit trails, and structured knowledge management.

R&D, Prototyping & Productionization

  • Identify bottlenecks across design iteration, materials visibility, commissioning, field data capture, and test & turn-up.
  • Evaluate potential solutions (COTS, open-source, internal prototypes: e.g., DCIM/CMMS integrations, GIS, automation tooling, digital twins).
  • Run proofs of concept with explicit success criteria, ROI analysis, and security/privacy reviews.
  • Transition successful PoCs into supported production tools, including runbooks, SLA definitions, training, and change-management processes.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of program or portfolio management experience in complex, multidisciplinary environments (infrastructure, hardware, or construction-adjacent preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to design and govern processes (stage gates, SOPs/MOPs, RACI, continuous improvement frameworks).
  • Proven capability running structured operating cadences, maintaining RAID logs, decision registers, and dependency maps.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience defining KPIs, dashboards, and decision SLAs.
  • Familiarity with program and information management platforms (e.g., Jira/Asana, Confluence/Notion, Airtable/Smartsheet).
  • Experience evaluating and piloting tools or integrations, with structured success criteria and ROI justification.

Preferred

  • Exposure to site analysis (GIS), BIM/IFC workflows, digital twins, commissioning processes, or DCIM/CMMS systems.
  • Experience with mobile data capture, automation/scripting (Python/JS), SQL/BI, or workflow integrations.
  • Understanding of infrastructure or data center design environments and related information flows.
