About Cybersyn

Cybersyn is a new DaaS (data-as-a-service) company, backed by Sequoia, Coatue, and Snowflake. Our mission is to make the world's economic data transparent to businesses and entrepreneurs and enable a new generation of decision makers. We acquire unique data assets (companies, licenses, data rights, consumer dividends) and build derived products on top of that, focusing on measuring what consumers and businesses are spending money on. You can think of Cybersyn as a cross between an investment firm and a technology company focused on data: if we are successful, we will disrupt the traditional market intelligence space. The reward is great - if we are successful, we can disrupt an industry worth $100Bs and build SimCity for the real world.

We have two businesses - consumer insights and public data. We have already released many datasets in the public data domain that we have cleaned, restructured and made joinable on Snowflake Marketplace.

About the role:

Cybersyn is looking to hire our first senior account executive to own our consumer insights products. You will be directly responsible for targeting prospect clients and developing those opportunities into long term, profitable relationships. We are looking for a highly driven account executive who is ready to both develop and execute upon the sales strategy to make Cybersyn a brand name in the market intelligence industry!

What you will do:

  • Strongly influence the broader commercial strategy and own the tactical sales approach for the consumer insights products.

  • Generate sales leads and maintain a pipeline of sales opportunities across a portfolio of clients.

  • Build strategic relationships with prospect customers and the targeted industries at large.

  • Represent the voice of the customer to shape internal product development, marketing, and communications.

  • Bridge the gap between understanding client specific needs and insights and what solutions our products can deliver.

Who you are:

  • 5+ years experience in a sales or account executive role focused on selling data products, in the retail and/or CPG industry.

  • Curious, hungry, and scrappy sales professional who has a strong foundation and is excited to leverage that experience in a more ambiguous, startup environment.

  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales results by developing a strong pipeline through persistent, targeted outreaches.

  • Experienced in scoping and developing proposals, and negotiation strategies.

  • Excitement to wear hats beyond the traditional Sales role to shape and define the sales strategy and process.

  • Results oriented while incorporating thought leadership and strategic thinking into the sales approach.
