As a Digital Native Account Executive reporting to the Sales Manager for the Digital Natives Team, you will be supported by a team of accomplished big data, AI, and industry specialists. Your mission is to promote the use of Databricks across a select group of high-growth startup and cloud-native businesses operating in the UK&I. Responsibilities
- Develop a territory and account strategy to upsell products and features
- Execute that strategy, onboarding ~3 new projects per quarter for very high upside accounts
- Build champions effectively, foster C-level relationships, ultimately driving usage-based growth.
- Exceed annual revenue targets with accelerators above 100% quota.
What we look for
- Experience in cloud providers or playbook-driven sales environments
- General understanding of data platform, open source and cloud ecosystems
- Familiarity with consumption-based models and co-selling with AWS, Azure, GCP.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and grasp abstract concepts (e.g. architecture diagrams)
- Delayed Gratification: The ability to get dive deep into client engagements and be patient in the pursuit of use cases or deals
- Growth Mindset: Proof of adopting a growth mindset and highly coachable in the pursuit of mastery
- Consistent quota over-achievement with complex software/services.
- Skilled at cross-functional collaboration and executive-level engagement.
- Familiarity with MEDDPICC, COTM or other sales methodologies
- Fluency in English.
