About Us
dbt Explorer allows users of dbt Cloud to understand and visualize the relationships between different elements of their dbt projects, and helps them improve their projects.
As a Senior Software Engineer for dbt Explorer, you will join a team of highly capable and motivated engineers in the continuous development of dbt Explorer as well as the platform that powers parts of dbt Cloud. The team is highly collaborative and pair programs frequently. This is an opportunity to contribute to an exciting, customer facing, product.
In this role, you can expect to:
- Work with our Product Manager and Product Designer to plan, architect, and build frontend features that will delight our customers.
- Develop into a leader on our frontend, writing quality code in React and Typescript, and working in our GraphQL API.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and our Product Manager to understand requirements and build quality solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across the stack, joining our on-call rotation.
You are a good fit if you have:
- Worked asynchronously as part of a fully-remote, distributed team.
- Have written production React and Typescript.
- Are excited to work on a collaborative team building customer facing features.
You'll have an edge if you have:
- Have experience with dbt.
- Have written or consumed GraphQL APIs.
- Have worked in multiple cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Qualifications:
- Have 5+ years experience
- Computer Science Degree OR
- Completed enrollment in related bootcamp
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: 234000- 316000 BRL
