Customer Success Manager
Dirac
About the Company
Dirac is on a mission to reindustrialize The West. American manufacturing is broken—burdened by inefficiency, bureaucracy, and outdated processes. We are pioneering Model-Based Manufacturing, where context-aware production planning informs design in real-time—eliminating the disconnect between engineering and manufacturing. Our platform automates what can be automated and captures tribal knowledge where automation falls short, creating a seamless system for building at scale. We're building the tools modern manufacturers need to move faster and build better, the pillars of a more abundant future.
We are a mission-driven company of world-class engineers and operators with a culture of high trust, high agency, and high autonomy.
How You Will Contribute
Act as a trusted advisor to our customers—from operators to engineering managers.
Ensure BuildOS delivers value across real-world manufacturing environments.
Build relationships that drive usage, quality, and long-term expansion.
Operate in high-agency mode—if it needs doing, you do it.
What You’ll Do
- Support Manufacturing Teams – Own relationships with key midmarket accounts and help them succeed with BuildOS, working directly with engineers, operators, and managers on the plant floor and in the office.
- Drive Usage & Adoption – Keep a close eye on quality and usage metrics. If a team isn’t fully adopting BuildOS, you’ll help fix that—whether it’s a training gap, a workflow misfit, or a manager who needs a nudge.
- Lead Onboarding & Training – Run product onboarding sessions and workshops—sometimes remote, sometimes on-site. Help new users go from zero to productive quickly.
- Own Renewals & Expansion – Partner with our sales team to lead the charge on renewals and expansion sales, whether through new modules or new divisions.
- Inform the Product – Bring back insights from the field to shape our roadmap. You’ll work closely with our product and engineering teams to ensure we’re solving real problems.
- Contribute to Trials – Support early-stage deployments and trials. Sometimes you’ll jump in pre-sale to help win a deal. Other times you’ll keep a trial customer on rails so we land cleanly.
What You Bring
- Hands-on familiarity with **manufacturing environments**—you've worked on or near a shop floor, or you've supported people who have.
- Strong interpersonal skills—you can build trust with both line workers and plant managers.
- Curiosity and grit—you care enough to understand how a customer operates, and you’ll put in the work to help them succeed.
- High agency and execution—you move fast, stay organized, and don’t need permission to fix problems.
- Technical comfort—while you don’t need to code, you should be fluent enough in engineering workflows and mechanical design to engage with our product and users meaningfully.
Nice To Have
- Experience with CAD, PLM, MES, or digital manufacturing tools.
- Mechanical or manufacturing engineering background.
- Exposure to SaaS implementations or technical customer support.
- Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Linear, and Notion.
