Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. Our Humanoid is designed for corporate tasks targeting labor shortages and jobs that are undesirable or unsafe. We are based in Sunnyvale, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration.

We are looking for a Manufacturing Warehouse Lead. In summary, the role will be responsible for not only overseeing inventory management but also designing and implementing effective inventory control processes. This role combines hands-on inventory oversight with strategic process development, ensuring that warehouse operations remain efficient and accurate. The Inventory Lead will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and maintain robust inventory systems that meet the organization’s current and future needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Process Development
    • Design and Implementation:
      • Build and establish standardized warehouse management processes, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
      • Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all inventory-related tasks.
    • System Integration:
      • Implement a WMS to keep track of incoming, outbound and in process inventory.
      • Implement the integration of Oracle Netsuite ERP + selected WMS.
    • Continuous Improvement:
      • Work with the manufacturing team to optimize warehousing processes to adapt to business growth or changes in demand.
      • Identify and address bottlenecks or inefficiencies in inventory workflows.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Maintain accurate inventory records by implementing effective tracking and reconciliation methods.
    • Conduct regular cycle counts, audits, and full physical inventory checks to identify and resolve discrepancies.
    • Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of inventory in compliance with safety and quality standards.
    • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and operations teams to address shortages or overstock.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Supervise and mentor team members, providing training on processes, systems, and safety protocols.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Generate detailed inventory reports and analyze data to identify trends, inconsistencies, or areas for improvement.
    • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of inventory processes and team performance.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on inventory optimization strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of warehouse/manufacturing inventory management
  • Proficiency with inventory management systems (e.g., WMS, SAP, Oracle).

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Prolonged standing, walking, and working in warehouse conditions.
  • Capability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks (certification preferred).

Work Environment:

This position operates in a warehouse environment with exposure to fluctuating temperatures, noise, and moving machinery. Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required to meet deadlines or resolve urgent inventory issues.
