Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. Our humanoid robot, Figure 02, is designed for commercial tasks and the home. We are based in San Jose, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration. It’s time to build.

We are looking for a Manufacturing Technician to work in our manufacturing facility helping to bring up new equipment and custom builds.

Responsibilities:

• Commission and bring up new manufacturing equipment, tools, and test devices
• Build and wire custom designed electromechanical testers, including power supplies, load setups, and IO validation rigs
• Set up and maintain production workbenches, including fixture mounting
• Assist with layout and routing of compressed air, power, and data to new production areas
• Support day-to-day plant engineering efforts, including line reconfiguration and test station bring-up
• Document assembly and maintenance procedures for infrastructure builds
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and technicians to ensure build readiness
• Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude and ability to work across mechanical and electrical systems
• Skilled with hand tools, power tools, and shop safety protocols

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a production or plant engineering environment
• Experience soldering
• Experience with panel wiring
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics

Bonus Qualifications:

• CAD Experience (CATIA 3DX Preferred)
• Experience building and debugging robots a plus
• Experience with commissioning industrial automation equipment such as programming industrial robots, PLCs etc.
• IPC-620 certified

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $35 - $50/hr.

The pay offered for this position may vary based on several individual factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
