About the role
Our People Team is seeking a Senior Associate, People Operations to support our People team in delivering a high quality employee experience. This role will work closely with our Senior Associate, Office Operations and our other Senior Associate, People Coordinator, helping with the day-to-day people operations of Flex.
From prepping onboarding kits to assisting employees and providing back-up support for office logistics, you’ll play a key role in supporting our daily people operations tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who’s excited to learn how people operations work at a fast-paced startup.
This is a hybrid position with on-site expectations of at least 3 days per week, with ability to be in 4 days as needed, in our New York Headquarters.
What you’ll do
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding logistics for onsite and remote employees
- Monitor and triage employee support requests via the People Ops Help channel and internal ticketing systems
- Partner with the People Coordinator on employee programs like leave management, performance reviews, engagement surveys, and compliance training
- Partner with the People Coordinator on ad hoc employee requests
- Assist with preparation for all company meetings and occasionally present
- Help maintain accurate employee records and support audits and reporting, as requested
- Assist with drafting/updating SOPs and internal resources in Notion, HR systems, or shared drives
- Serve as back-up support for office operations like restocking supplies, organizing shared spaces, and responding to in office employee requests
- Be additional support for onsite and offsite events
Key qualifications
- Experience in an office, HR, hospitality, or operations support role is a plus, but not required. We value curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to jump in and learn over experience.
- You’re highly organized and love making physical spaces feel intentional and polished
- You’re reliable, adaptable, and don’t mind doing a little bit of everything
- You bring a positive, can-do attitude and are always happy to help
- You communicate clearly and aren’t afraid to ask questions
- You’re curious about growing your career in People Ops or Office Operations
The compensation range for this role will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and Flex's internal leveling guidelines and benchmarks. For working locations in NY/NJ/CA, the base salary pay range will be $99,000 - $110,000.
