Role Overview:

The Finance Business Partner will be a key member of the finance team, responsible for collaborating closely with operational departments and providing valuable financial insights to enable informed decision-making. This position will actively support and contribute to performance reviews, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of financial acumen, business partnership, and strong leadership skills.

Your responsibilities:

1. Financial Business Partnership
   • Act as a trusted financial advisor to operational department heads, understanding their unique business needs and challenges.
   • Collaborate with department leaders to develop and align financial strategies, ensuring they are in line with the company's overall goals and objectives.
   • Provide financial guidance and support to departments in optimizing financial performance and driving cost efficiencies.
2. Performance Analysis and Reporting
   • Prepare and analyze financial reports, KPIs, and other key financial metrics to track departmental and market performance.
   • Conduct regular performance reviews with department and market heads, discussing financial results, identifying trends, and recommending corrective actions when necessary.
   • Assist in developing financial models and scenarios to assess the impact of business decisions on profitability and growth.
   • Support internal reporting team in preparing business performance reporting by using best practices for meaningful and valuable reports addressed to the senior leadership team.
3. Budgeting and Forecasting
   • Facilitate and support the annual budgeting process for operational departments, working closely with department heads to set realistic and achievable financial targets.
   • Collaborate with departments during the periodic forecasting process to provide timely and accurate financial projections.
   • Monitor actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts, highlighting variances and addressing potential issues proactively.
4. Strategic Planning
   • Contribute to the development of the company's overall strategic plan by providing valuable financial insights and market analysis.
   • Assist in evaluating investment opportunities and potential business expansions through financial modeling and risk assessment.
   • Support the senior Finance Management Team in presenting financial reports and strategic recommendations to the executive team and board of investors.

Who you are:

• 6+ years of relevant FP&A and/or Finance Business Partner experience, preferably with a mix of consulting and some hands-on industry experience
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional qualification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
• Strong financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
• Outstanding strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to make data-driven recommendations.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills to convey complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
