Join us as a People Operations Manager for Türkiye, where you will lead employee relations, manage the full employee lifecycle, and act as the first point of contact for People & Organization (P&O) related inquiries. In this role, you will collaborate closely with global P&O teams, support local recruitment, and drive initiatives that foster a positive and engaging work environment. Moreover, you will ensure the day-to-day activities run smoothly at our office in Ümraniye.

Istanbul (On-site) - (Just Work Meydan İstanbul AVM, Balkan Cd. No:62, 34770 Ümraniye/İstanbul)

Your Role in Our Mission:

  • Lead employee relations and ensure compliance with local labor regulations across 2 legal entities, whereas one is operated as call center, the other one focusing on offline tutoring centers;
  • All responsibilities other than Office Management apply to both GoStudent Eğitim Teknolojileri Limited Şirketi and Gelecek Odaklı Öğrenci Eğitim Merkezi ve Danışmanlık Hizmetleri A.Ş.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle processes and ensure the best employee experience; coordinate with global HR departments involved in these processes. Involve legal advisors when necessary.
  • Manage HR requests from employees and managers.
  • Provide guidance and consultation to managers regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Support the payroll team to ensure payroll processes are completed accurately and on time.
  • Manage employment contracts.
  • Oversee the management of employee personnel files and original documentation.
  • Collaborate with the global HR team to share and ensure effective implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to regular company HR processes such as performance evaluation, employee compensation and benefits development, and employee engagement planning.
  • Support the Talent Acquisition team with local recruitment procedures and sourcing strategies.
  • Conduct exit interviews, report and analyze data, and propose action plans to address staff turnover.
  • Ensure data accuracy and quality in HR tools by keeping all information up to date.
  • Act as a Culture Ambassador; analyze employee needs and concerns (e.g., through surveys and feedback channels), and develop and implement action plans to increase engagement and motivation.
  • Support the IT team in the Istanbul office (liaise with IT contacts and coordinate necessary operations).
  • Handle office management.
  • Support the accounting team with local procedures.
  • Communicate with local company stakeholders and manage related processes.

What will you bring:

  • Proven experience as an HRBP, HR Manager, or similar role with at least 3 years of experience in Turkey.
  • Deep knowledge of Turkish labor laws; ability to ensure compliance, track regulatory changes, and provide legal guidance.
  • Advanced level of English (the company language).
  • Computer literacy (MS Office applications, HRIS systems such as Workday, and payroll systems).
  • Ability to manage employee data, generate reports, and support payroll processes using HRIS (Workday) and payroll systems.
  • Strong communication skills (advanced written and spoken English required — minimum B2 level).
  • Provide guidance and consultation to global and local managers on local HR matters.
  • Manage the entire employee lifecycle while providing advice, support, and solutions to managers and employees.
  • Lead or support change initiatives and projects aligned with business goals (OKRs).
  • Collaborate with global teams to develop and implement HR strategies and policies aligned with company goals and values.
  • Foster a positive work environment by promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion; support employee engagement activities.
  • Analyze HR metrics and KPIs; identify trends, evaluate HR initiatives’ effectiveness, and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
