Overview

Position Overview:

The Accounts Payable Manager will oversee the entire accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. This role requires close collaboration with team members (US and India) to manage payments, reconcile accounts, and support financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounts payable and a proactive approach to process improvement.

Centers of Excellence (COE) are teams whose primary goal is to provide expertise in a specific field. COEs will usually provide support through training, research, and skilled leaders. In the case of HealthEdge, our Centers of Excellence incorporate the Human Resources, IT, Legal and Financial fields, all of which provide support to our Product divisions and allows the enterprise to move forward and achieve its goals.

Your impact:

  • Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payment disbursements, and vendor management.
  • Collaborate with finance and operational teams in US and India to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
  • Develop and implement accounts payable policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits of accounts payable transactions to ensure accuracy and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Reconcile accounts payable ledger to ensure all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports related to accounts payable activities.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and resolve any discrepancies or payment issues.
  • Utilize accounting software and tools to streamline accounts payable processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the accounts payable function.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in accounts payable, with increasing level of responsibility
  • Experience working in a SaaS company or a technology-driven environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Experience as a Team Lead or Manager/Supervisor preferred
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Coupa, NetSuite) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with international teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment.

Geographic Responsibility: Ideally someone in the Burlington/Boston, MA area to come in once a week
