We are seeking an experienced DevOps Operations Manager to lead small team of DevOps engineers while driving operational excellence across our cloud platform. This role combines people leadership with hands-on operational expertise, focusing on incident management, monitoring, and leveraging AI to enhance operational efficiency.

Your Impact:

  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop DevOps engineers through 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development
  • Operational Excellence: Lead incident management, crisis response, and maintain high uptime across production systems
  • Monitoring & Alerting: Oversee monitoring, alerting, and PagerDuty configuration for optimal system observability
  • AI Innovation: Drive AI adoption and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
  • Strategic Oversight: Provide guidance on CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code, and Kubernetes deployments
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate between Development, Operations, and Infrastructure teams

What You Bring:

  • Leadership: 3+ years managing DevOps/SRE teams with proven track record of building high-performing teams
  • Technical Experience: 7+ years in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or site reliability engineering
  • Cloud Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience with AWS cloud technologies and services, Azure experience is a plus
  • Core Technologies: Proficiency with Kubernetes, CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions), Infrastructure-as-Code
  • Operations: Experience with production incident management, on-call operations, and PagerDuty
  • Monitoring: Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Grafana, etc)
  • Communication: Strong stakeholder management and crisis leadership skills

Bonus Points:

  • Experience implementing AI tools for operational automation
  • AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer)
  • Multi-cloud experience (AWS, Azure)
  • Background in scripting and automation (Python, Bash)
