About the Role
The Corporate Communications Manager will help drive a drumbeat of strategic and compelling storytelling that wins the hearts and minds of customers, investors, media, and employees. In this role, you’ll help strengthen our position as the leader in a fast-growing market with an opportunity to shape the conversation about the future of healthcare.
What You'll Accomplish
Develop inspiring and differentiated narratives amplifying Hinge Health’s vision, mission, strategy
Grow our Share of Voice and message pull-through with top-tier media placements and insightful stories
Expand Hinge Health’s engagement with influential consumer and healthcare reporters
Create integrated campaigns and coordinate product announcements in partnership with commercial, enterprise marketing, demand gen, and product marketing teams
Deliver high-quality comms artifacts, including briefing books, press releases, blog posts, bylines, faqs associated with critical launches
Support internal communications efforts, helping the organization with change management while driving employee engagement
Hinge Health Hybrid Model
We believe that remote work and in-person work have their own advantages and disadvantages, and we want to be able to leverage the best of both worlds. Employees in hybrid roles are required to be in the office 3 days per week, for the full 8 hours of a typical business day. The San Francisco office has a dog-friendly workplace program.
Basic Qualifications
7+ years in a communications function such as PR, public affairs, or media relations
Experience managing PR agencies and project lead for internal and external communications efforts
Media relationships with consumer and healthcare reporters
Strong communicator: Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills
Effective storyteller: Translates complex topics into simple, inspiring narratives
Preferred Qualifications
In-house and agency experience preferred
Some experience managing or contributing to social media channels preferred
Prioritization: Able to get things done in an environment with many competing demands
Leadership: Effectively guides, motivates, and empowers cross-functional teams
Strategic: Helps steers media conversations and plans with the big picture in mind
Empathetic: Understands audiences and tailors messages for maximum impact
Resilient: Manages crisis with confidence and clarity
Compensation
This position will have an annual salary, plus equity and benefits. Please note the annual salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. The annual salary range for this position is $116,000 - $174,000.
