Infinitus Systems

Software Engineering
San Francisco, CA, USA
Posted on Nov 14, 2024

Hi. We're Infinitus. We're a team of ex-Googlers, startup veterans, and industry experts on a mission to build AI that improves how Americans get access to critical specialty medications. Our purpose-built AI system automates phone calls to insurance companies, pharmacy benefit managers, and pharmacies to make the business of caring for people less "business," more "people."

Our approach combines multi-model/multimodal AI, human-in-the-loop machine learning, and an extensive knowledge graph to conduct accurate, compliant, autonomous conversations between organizations. Since Infinitus was founded over five years ago, we’ve automated over 3 million calls, processed more than 42 million minutes of audio, and saved the US healthcare system thousands of hours.

We’ve raised $102.9M from the best venture capitalists and many industry leaders such as Kleiner Perkins, Coatue Management, Google Ventures, a16z and Andreessen Horowitz. If you're looking to join a dynamic team at the forefront of AI and health tech, and you’re ready to challenge "how it's always been done," we want to meet you.

About the role:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our dynamic team. As an SDET, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate closely with the development and product teams to design, develop, and execute automated tests, maintain comprehensive test suites, and lead regression testing efforts. You will ensure smooth, reliable releases by certifying builds through rigorous testing and will investigate production issues, using test automation to prevent future occurrences. Your work will be critical to maintaining the highest level of software quality and performance as we scale our AI-driven healthcare solutions.

What’s the impact:

  • Be part of something groundbreaking: As a Senior SDET at Infinitus.ai, you’ll drive the reliability of cutting-edge AI solutions that transform healthcare, automating complex processes for providers and patients.
  • Impact at scale: Your testing strategies will directly enhance the reliability of systems supporting healthcare organizations, improving care efficiency for millions of patients.
  • Collaborate to innovate: Partner with product managers and engineers to shape comprehensive test plans, ensuring our solutions meet the highest standards and customer needs.
  • Shape the future: Contribute to the technical roadmap, advancing AI-powered healthcare automation and making a global impact on patient care.

Competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a role as an SDET or similar position, with a proven track record of automating functional, regression, performance, and load tests.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Golang, Python, or similar languages is required.
  • Strong expertise in testing REST APIs, GraphQL, and WebSocket services, including designing detailed test cases for API layers.
  • Hands-on experience optimizing test runs for backend services and APIs, with experience in CircleCI, Jenkins, or similar tools.
  • Experience in testing web-based applications and websites, including UI testing and cross-browser compatibility testing in React-based applications.
  • Proficiency in automation testing frameworks and tools in the JavaScript ecosystem, such as Cypress, Puppeteer, Selenium or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of git branching, tagging, and code deployment best practices.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container orchestration systems in cloud environments (Google Cloud, Azure, AWS).
  • Strong experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines from scratch, particularly using GitHub Actions, with the ability to define triggering, execution, and monitoring processes.
  • Expertise in integrating and optimizing existing test suites (e.g., E2E tests) within GitHub Actions, ensuring efficient execution through practices like parallelization, caching, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with audio technologies and protocols, such as WebRTC, and testing voice-based RPA systems is a plus but not required.

Infinitus Systems, Inc. is building AI solutions to make healthcare “wait-less,” to remove the obstacles that hinder patient care by handling the tedious back-office phone calls required for therapy and procedure approval.
