Description

We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic HR Generalist with 5 to 7 years of professional experience to join our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and supporting a wide range of HR functions, including employee relations, recruitment, compliance, benefits administration, and organizational development. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Leave of Absence

  • Work with Trinet (our PEO) to assist employees with their leaves of absence, including state and federal forms/requirements.

Benefits Administration

  • Work with Trinet (our PEO) on employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and issue resolution.

Compliance and Policies

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
  • Assist in updating and implementing HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.

Employee Relations

  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts professionally.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture through proactive engagement and conflict resolution.

Performance Management

  • Facilitate performance review processes
  • Collaborate with managers to identify and address employee development needs.

Training and Development

  • Coordinate training programs to support employee skill development and organizational goals.

HR Metrics and Reporting

  • Analyze HR metrics to track trends and develop actionable insights.
  • Prepare reports on turnover, absenteeism, and other key HR indicators for leadership review.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably in a mid to large-sized organization.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, labor regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Proficient in HRIS
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
