Social Media and Content Manager
Island
Description
Island is the pioneer of the Enterprise Browser - the ideal workspace, where the core needs of the enterprise are built right into the browser, instead of bolted on. It’s one simple change, but it’s changing everything for hundreds of the world’s leading enterprises across all industries. We're backed by leading investors including Sequoia Capital, Insight Partners, and Coatue Management. By joining Island, you'll be part of one of the fastest-growing companies on earth – completely reimagining the way enterprises work smoothly, safely, and productively – while working alongside some of the brightest minds in technology.
We’re looking for a Social Media & Content Manager based in Tel Aviv to own our LinkedIn presence and activity. The role will help us organically grow our audience on LinkedIn, drive traffic to our website, and actively engage with our community of customers, prospects and fans.
In this role, you’ll help transform Island’s social calendar and content creation process into a fine-tuned machine - managing everything from planning and drafting to publishing and measuring. You’ll also use your natural creative writing skills to edit (and sometimes draft) social posts, blog articles and other Island content.
What You'll Do Here:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute our social media and content strategy.
- Own the content calendar from idea to publish.
- Partner with Island subject-matter experts to create compelling content.
- Regularly engage with our audience on LinkedIn.
- Track, measure, and optimize our social and blog performance.
- Stay ahead of platform trends and actively suggest ways to improve.
- Champion brand consistency so the Island voice is heard everywhere we press publish.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
The Skills Part
- You’ve spent 3–6 years successfully managing social media and content for B2B SaaS and have evidence to prove it.
- You’re a strong writer, thinker, and editor who holds yourself to a high standard.
- You’re comfortable analyzing dashboards and reporting on metrics
- You’ve got a strong grasp of LinkedIn best practices (organic + algorithmic).
- You’re familiar with popular marketing tools (e.g., Sprout, HubSpot, Webflow, or similar).
- *Bonus* You’ve got basic design chops (Figma/Canva) or experience with video‑first social formats.
The Human Part
- You’re a self‑starter - well-organized, disciplined, regularly meets deadlines
- You’re a natural collaborator
- You’re a creative problem‑solver
- You take constructive feedback well
- You think big picture, but not afraid to get your hands dirty
- You’re simply a good person (seriously, this matters a lot to us)
This is your opportunity to amplify a brand that’s changing how work gets done, everywhere work happens. If this sounds exactly like the opportunity you’ve been working towards, let’s talk.
