About the Role
We're seeking a talented Research Engineer to bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI research and practical customer applications. You will work closely with our research team and gather insights from customers to develop and implement custom AI solutions for image editing and generation.
This role is open to candidates located in France. It will be a hybrid setup, which requires you to come into the office when necessary. The office is based at Station F in Paris, the vibrant hub of the French startup ecosystem.

Core Responsibilities
Implement and finetune models from both internal research and open-source repositories
Collaborate with the research team to transform promising prototypes into production-ready applications
Develop and adapt state-of-the-art models for customer use cases in image editing
Process and analyze image datasets to develop tailored solutions for answering our customer’s needs
Keep active track of the research literature and industry developments
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field, with experience in implementing and deploying deep learning models
Strong programming skills in Python and PyTorch
Proven track record of building end-to-end ML solutions, image processing, and computer vision applications
Experience with state-of-the-art generative models, particularly: Diffusion, VAE, GANs, Flow matching
Knowledge of evaluating and benchmarking image generation models.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt research for practical applications
Experience with distributed training and large-scale systems with PyTorch
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with distributed training systems and model optimization
Knowledge of dataset curation and large-scale image processing pipelines
Contributions to open-source projects
Background in customer-facing technical roles
Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools
