About The Role

As a Staff Brand Copywriter, you will be a driving force behind Jasper's brand voice, crafting compelling and consistent messaging that brings our brand to life. Your work will span everything from campaign slogans and website headlines to product messaging and brand narratives. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, marketing, and product, to deliver high-quality copy that connects with our audience and enhances their experience with Jasper.

The ideal candidate is a skilled storyteller and strategic thinker, adept at crafting engaging content that seamlessly integrates brand messaging with business objectives. They possess a sharp eye for detail, excel at collaborating with diverse stakeholders, and have a deep understanding of how to resonate with B2B audiences through impactful digital channels. At Jasper, we believe AI enhances human creativity rather than replacing it, and in this role, you’ll define how copywriters and AI can collaborate to produce exceptional, impactful written content.

This fully remote role reports to Jasper’s Creative Director and is open to candidates located anywhere in the continental US.

What you will do at Jasper

  • Creative strategy & copywriting: Ideate and write clear, concise, and engaging copy for a wide variety of projects, including advertising campaigns, website content, email marketing, social media, event promotions, video scripts, and more.

  • Brand voice development: Shape and evolve Jasper’s tone and voice, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints and delivering a unique brand personality that resonates with our audience.

  • Verbal style guide ownership: Define and refine Jasper's written and verbal style guide, sharing it company-wide to ensure every team communicates in a consistent, on-brand way. You'll also take ownership of maintaining Jasper's brand voice within the product experience, empowering all users to confidently create content that aligns with Jasper's identity.

  • Storytelling: Craft compelling narratives that communicate Jasper’s value proposition, mission, and impact, both internally and externally.

  • Strategic messaging: Partner closely with the product marketing team to develop messaging frameworks that support product launches, campaign strategies, and brand initiatives.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with designers, marketers, and product managers to align copy with visual assets and overall creative direction.

  • Editing and refinement: Review and refine copy to maintain high quality, accuracy, and consistency across all deliverables.

  • Research and Insights: Stay on top of industry trends, audience insights, and competitive messaging to ensure our copy remains relevant and effective.

What you will bring to Jasper

  • 8+ years of professional writing experience, specializing in web content and campaigns.

  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing for enterprise B2B SaaS companies, with expertise in multi-channel campaigns, website strategy, and conversion optimization.

  • Demonstrated versatility in copywriting, with expertise in crafting everything from concise web copy to in-depth content for technical audiences to offbeat and unique creative campaigns.

  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and editing skills, with a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with design, product, product marketing, and development teams to produce impactful web content.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align content with business goals and tailor messaging for diverse audiences.

  • Creative problem-solver adept at transforming complex ideas into engaging and accessible content.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excited about building and maintaining a consistent, recognizable brand voice while adapting to the company’s growth and evolution.

  • Enthusiastic about AI and its potential to transform marketing and creativity.

  • The human touch needed to edit, refine, and contextualize AI-generated copy, ensuring it resonates with audiences in a nuanced and thoughtful way.

Compensation Range

At Jasper, we believe in pay transparency and are committed to providing our employees and candidates with access to information about our compensation practices. The expected base salary range offered for this role is $160,000 - $200,000. Compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skills, competencies, and certifications.
