The Opportunity at Komodo Health
The Senior Sales Engineer plays a vital role in technically supporting demonstration of the superior value of Komodo’s Healthcare Map. The best Senior Sales Engineers draw on skills across business systems analysis, communications, and engineering and can support solutions strategy development by demonstrating Komodo's data advantage through rapidly prototyping the appropriate datasets, data extraction and product demos.
Looking back on your first 12 months at Komodo Health, you will have…
- Obtain an advanced understanding of Komodo’s Healthcare Map, its application in reducing the burden of disease, and evangelize the Komodo difference.
- Provide actionable analytics and visualizations that tell a story in support of existing revenue generating projects, pre-sales/new logo opportunities, sales expansion efforts, and internal requests.
- Actively engage with internal and external stakeholders in analytic/solution discussions ensuring that appropriate hypothesis, methodologies, and outputs are addressed in order to eliminate rework.
- Support prospective customers by consulting on data solutions strategies and custom projects, providing health informatics knowledge and strategies.
- Bring the voice of our customers directly into the product development lifecycle (e.g. productize commonly requested analyses).
- Foster and exemplify Komodo Values and Culture.
What you bring to Komodo Health:
- Demonstrated expertise with healthcare related data and analytics.
- In-depth understanding of and experience working with data assets or products utilized by Life Sciences customers, including patient level insights, HCP and HCO sales reporting, Market Access (payer) insights and MDM processes and solutions.
- Advanced storytelling ability, as it relates to data analysis and experience in creating impactful stories and presentations.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and foster collaboration across various groups/stakeholders with varying levels of understanding.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to successfully manage multiple projects with high quality and grace under pressure.
- Deep technical knowledge in one or more of the following or similar. Technology integration projects, IT systems, REST APIs, Service-Oriented Architectures, Relational Databases, Technical Project Management.
- Flexible mindset to embrace use of new software applications and cloud-based platforms.

Where You’ll Work
Komodo Health has a hybrid work model; we recognize the power of choice and importance of flexibility for the well-being of both our company and our individual Dragons. Roles may be completely remote based anywhere in the country listed, remote but based in a specific region, or local (commuting distance) to one of our hubs in San Francisco, New York City, or Chicago with remote work options.
