The Opportunity at Mavens a Komodo Health company:

Joining Mavens, a Komodo Health company as an Account Executive, you will be joining an expanding and dynamic sales team. This is an individual contributor sales role focused on new business growth.

This sales team specializes in delivering tailored Salesforce-based solutions, including consulting, managed services, and our innovative products that span Medical Affairs, Patient Services and Commercial teams. We focus on driving customer success through our expertise in Force.com while building long-term partnerships that support recurring revenue and business growth.

Looking back on your first 12 months at Mavens, you will have accomplished…

  • Met or exceeded sales quota by driving education and adoption of our Salesforce-powered solutions, including Medical Information Cloud, Publications Planning, Care Connect, and Grants Management.
  • Developed a deep understanding of Mavens’s workflow solutions product suite and the competitive advantages our solutions offer within the life sciences and healthcare industries.
  • Established multiple relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within your assigned accounts, positioning Mavens as a trusted partner in achieving their organizational goals.
  • Collaborated with Mavens’s Product, Client Partners, Solutions Leads, Consulting, and Engineering Teams to ensure our SaaS solutions address the industry’s most pressing challenges, delivering sustained customer engagement and measurable ROI.

You will accomplish these outcomes through the following responsibilities…

  • Drive daily sales motion by actively engaging in prospecting, cold calling, and email outreach, consistently working to expand the customer base and generate new business opportunities for Mavens solutions.
  • Maintain an accurate and dynamic sales funnel that informs internal conversations on resource allocation and strategic priorities.
  • Enter and manage sales, pipeline, and deal activity in Salesforce with high accuracy and in a timely manner, ensuring seamless communication and tracking.
  • Partner with clients to design and deliver solutions that address a wide range of business challenges, aligning their goals with Mavens’ suite of Salesforce-based products and services.
  • Establish and sustain client relationships with key stakeholders, driving new business development and expanding our presence with key prospects.

What you bring to Mavens (required):

  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas year over year.
  • 10+ years of experience successfully selling B2B SaaS, consulting services, enterprise technology, or platform solutions, with a focus on new business development.
  • Deep expertise in life sciences industries, including knowledge of consulting approaches tailored to Medical Affairs, Commercial applications, or Patient Services, or prior experience selling into life sciences with an understanding of their purchasing behaviors for consulting, software, and technology solutions.
  • Understanding of Salesforce solutions and experience leveraging Salesforce’s capabilities as part of client solutions; experience working with Salesforce Account Executives to co-sell and win deals is a strong plus.
  • Strong prospecting skills with a desire to identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities across assigned accounts.
  • Advanced presentation skills with extensive experience creating structured, client-ready deliverables in PowerPoint or Google Slides.
  • Relationship management expertise demonstrated by managing relationships with senior executives, including C-suite leaders, and driving strategic account growth.
  • Experience managing strategic accounts with successful penetration into multiple customer groups across organizations.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey value propositions and maintain clear client communications.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and their equivalents in Google Workspace, to support high-quality deliverables and reporting.

Compensation at Komodo Health

The pay range for each job posting reflects a minimum and maximum range of pay that we reasonably expect to pay across all U.S. locations and may span more than one career level. We carefully consider multiple business-related factors when determining compensation, including job-related skills, work experience, geographic work location, relevant training and certifications, business needs and market demands.

The U.S. national starting annual base pay for this role is listed below. This position may be eligible for performance-based bonuses as determined in the Company’s sole discretion and in accordance with a written agreement or plan.
$140,000$190,000 USD

The pay range for each job posting reflects a minimum and maximum range of pay that we reasonably expect to pay across all U.S. locations and may span more than one career level. We carefully consider multiple business-related factors when determining compensation, including job-related skills, work experience, geographic work location, relevant training and certifications, business needs and market demands.

The U.S. national starting annual base pay for this role is listed below. This position is eligible for commissions in accordance with a written agreement or plan.
$140,000$190,000 USD

Where You’ll Work

Komodo Health has a hybrid work model; we recognize the power of choice and importance of flexibility for the well-being of both our company and our individual Dragons. Roles may be completely remote based anywhere in the country listed, remote but based in a specific region, or local (commuting distance) to one of our hubs in San Francisco, New York City, or Chicago with remote work options.
