Role Description:
The Service Message Processor will be responsible for understanding and assisting in processing bank and client wire transactions. This role offers tremendous growth opportunities to learn from other Payments experts in an inclusive, supportive, technology-driven environment.
In this role you will:
- Process, log, and track all incoming and outgoing wire service messages with accuracy and adherence to established operational standards.
- Respond to Letters of Indemnity (LOI), Hold Harmless letters, and similar inquiries received from other financial institutions, ensuring timely and professional communication.
- Assist with subpoena and legal information requests, coordinating with internal teams to gather required documentation while maintaining confidentiality and compliance.
- Review, research, and assist in resolving wire-related disputes, providing clear documentation and escalation support when needed.
- Communicate professionally with clients, co-workers, and external financial institutions, offering clear explanations, follow-up, and resolution support.
- Engage with correspondent banking partners as necessary to process inquiries, research requests, or exception items.
- Process detailed research requests from branches, clients, and internal stakeholders, delivering thorough and timely responses.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance service quality.
- Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to team goals and operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- Have at least 1-2 years of banking experience
- Wire processing experience preferred
- Are action-oriented, with strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Have strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to make judgements with the information provided
- Are curious, have humility, are open to learning and approach your work with a growth mindset
- Thrive working in a fluid environment with high autonomy
- Display exceptional communication skills while offering client support to internal and external clients
