Role Description: The Assistant Business Banking Manager will work with our Business Banking Manager to aid in the management of our Business Banking Specialists and provide leadership and support for Bankers in a manner that minimizes the potential for financial loss for the Bank and meets regulatory compliance requirements. This role will oversee and facilitate the completion of documentation needed for the enrollment of commercial product offerings, as well as develop, update and implement resources and procedures as needed. We are looking for someone with expert knowledge of deposit bank operations and best practices.

In this role you will:

  • Directly manage a team of Business Banking Specialists with oversight from the Business Banking Manager
  • Assist Bankers with various issues related to operations
  • Develop and implement departmental procedures and service standards; interpret and communicate work procedures and Bank policies to operations Bankers
  • Maintain and develop manuals and reference to document current operations policies and procedures
  • Train Bankers to effectively implement Bank policies and procedures
  • Proactively manage the job performance of operations Bankers; discussing and identifying causes and issues while working to resolve the problem
  • Oversee schedules and time off requests of Business Banking Specialists
  • Bring excellent client management skills that will help you build professional relationships and curate interactions based on client motivations and needs
  • Lead and monitor special projects, ensuring that task are assigned and completed
  • Provide reports and information for management
  • Comply with all relevant banking laws and regulations
  • Identify strengths and development opportunities of team members, providing training as needed
  • Respond to direct client and partner inquiries, concerns and complaints
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Have at least two years of banking and management experience
  • Cash Management experience is preferred
  • Brings communication skills that help you build relationships with clients and team members
