We are seeking a Senior Manager - Global Payments to serve as a people and thought leader for our global accounts payable, payroll, and payments processes. This is a critical leadership role within Lime’s Finance team and will report to the Treasurer. As a leader, you will oversee teams based in Asia and collaborate with internal and external partners across the globe. This is a unique opportunity to shape an important part of the finance process within a high-growth organization.
We are a remote first company! For this role, we are targeting applications from individual who live in the Western United States - Pacific Standard Timezone.
This position will manage a large team in Malaysia.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, develop, and support a growing team of shared services professionals, including the accounts payable (AP) and payroll teams based in Malaysia
Provide strategic leadership on global payments, including understanding best-in-class processes and systems, making recommendations for improvements, and leading key projects that allow the company to scale
Ensure accurate and timely payments to vendors and employees, including managing approval workflows and reviewing and approving outgoing payments
Establish, monitor and assess key performance indicators (KPIs) and other performance metrics, taking proactive steps to address any discrepancies or inefficiencies
Provide support during internal and external audits and ensure compliance with tax and employment laws and regulatory standards
Collaborate with procurement, legal, IT, and HR teams to enhance efficiency, resolve disputes, and integrate payroll with employee benefits programs.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with external vendors and third-party payroll providers
About you
Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate across teams and international time zones, with an excitement for international travel for face-to-face meetings
7+ years of finance/accounting experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role overseeing AP and/or payroll processes
Experience with various financial software packages (e.g., NetSuite, ADP, Coupa, Anaplan) including Microsoft or Google office applications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
