We are seeking a proactive, data-driven, and entrepreneurial-minded individual to join our Porto Operations team as a Junior Operations Associate. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in optimizing our fleet operations, coordinating team efforts both in the warehouse and out in the field, and serving as the local expert to identify and address the unique needs of our riders. From ensuring vehicle readiness in the warehouse to supporting seamless customer experiences, you will tackle diverse challenges that define our operational success. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the evolution of mobility solutions in Porto while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
The individual hired in this position must live within one hour of Lime Porto warehouse
What you’ll do
Team Development: Onboard, train, and coach Mechanics and Fleet Support staff to ensure efficient deployment and retrieval of shared electric vehicles while fostering a team-oriented environment.
Team Integration: Assist with the facilitations of new team members, creating a supportive and collaborative work culture.
Performance Feedback: Provide constructive feedback to warehouse leadership on team performance to help drive continuous improvement.
Operational Excellence: Identify and share best practices to enhance operational efficiency within the warehouse and contribute to Lime's global community of excellence.
Warehouse Operations: Support the maintenance of a safe, compliant, and efficient warehouse environment, ensuring vehicles remain fully operational to meet market demands. Will be required to safely operate a push cart, pallet jack, and/or forklift to move vehicle inventory. Where applicable, forklift certification will be necessary.
KPI Monitoring: Assist warehouse leadership in tracking key performance indicators related to repairs per hour, tasks per hour, backlog and operational efficiencies.
Regulatory Support: Collaborate with warehouse leadership in their support to the Government Relations team on legal, regulatory, and safety matters as needed.
Event Participation: Engage in Lime events, supporting revenue growth initiatives, providing valet services, and conducting safety reviews to enhance customer experiences.
Issue Reporting: Identify and report operational or product-related issues, supporting leadership in investigating customer complaints and service incidents.
Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct and oversee vehicle maintenance and quality checks, manage battery inventory, and ensure vehicles are ready for deployment
Additional Responsibilities: Perform other job-related tasks as assigned to support warehouse and field operations which may include safely operating a Lime van
About you
You have a strong sense of ownership and are excited to launch and lead operations in a new market.
You have at least 1 year of professional experience in fast-paced, operational roles (e.g., logistics, warehousing, transportation, or field operations), ideally with people management exposure.
You’re an effective communicator in both Portuguese and English, and can coach and align teams toward common goals.
You demonstrate a data-driven mindset: you’re comfortable using Excel or Google Sheets to track performance metrics, optimize workflows, and support decision-making.
You are safety-conscious, hands-on, and eager to improve day-to-day processes for better team performance and customer outcomes.
You possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, and are comfortable supporting field operations and occasionally driving a van or using warehouse equipment.
You thrive in ambiguity, have an entrepreneurial attitude, and are not afraid to roll up your sleeves to get the job done.
You are excited to build a team culture from the ground up and act as a local ambassador for Lime’s operational standards and values.
