The Role
Lyra Health is looking for an Operations Associate to help us grow and scale the operations of our Lyra Care clinical expansion programs, including Lyra Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Lyra Care Therapy for Teens programs. This role will be a great fit if you are energized by working closely with clients and therapists to enable successful care coordination, scaling processes to grow a clinical program, and delivering business results. An ideal candidate for this role has experience in both clinical settings (ex. working with patients with severe mental illness in hospital settings or with organizations that support people with severe mental health conditions) as well as demonstrated project management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Screen high-risk clients for the Lyra DBT program, including conducting phone screens, clinical assessments, suicide risk assessments, as well as safety planning as needed
- Manage ongoing client enrollment and referral workflows, as well as serving as the day to day operations care coordinator for Lyra DBT and Teens clients, Severe Care therapists, and the severe care clinical management team
- Scope and manage operational projects including care communication, scheduling, eligibility and billing to scale our Severe Care clinical programs
- Identify operational weaknesses and help improve or innovate new processes, collaborating internally with teams such as Product, Platform Support, Care Navigation, Marketing, HR, Legal, and Analytics
- Support internal initiatives to build a world-class team
Requirements:
- 2+ years of work experience
- Experience in operations and/or project management highly preferred
- Experience working with suicidality through experiences such as suicide crisis hotlines, clinical suicide research (including conducting clinical interviews or suicide risk assessments), or psychiatric hospital counselor positions
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully on cross-functional teams
- Highly organized self-starter; able to multitask and respond flexibly to challenging and high-risk client interactions
- You should be someone who is detail-oriented and who thrives in a fast-paced clinical and startup environment.
- Aptitude for / experience with a variety of tech tools and products (e.g. Google Suite, Salesforce, scheduling tools etc.)
- Passion for expanding access to quality mental health care
