Network Optimization Coordinator
Location: Hybrid in NYC (3 day in-office requirement)
Qualifications:
- 0–2 years of professional experience in data entry, customer support, operations, or an administrative role
- Comfortable communicating with customers via phone and email
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for getting things right the first time
- Basic familiarity with tools like Google Sheets, Excel, or CRM systems (Salesforce experience is a plus)
- Able to stay organized, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A willingness to learn, ask questions, and contribute to team improvements
Bonus points:
- Experience using Salesforce or other CRMs
- Experience working in a tech company or startup environment
- Familiarity with support tools like Zendesk, Jira, or Asana
- Interest in sales, customer success, or revenue operations as a long-term career path
A day in the life and how you’ll make an impact:
- Data Entry & Quality Control – Accurately input, update, and maintain vendor data in our systems (Salesforce, internal tools), helping ensure high data quality across the Supplier Network.
- Support Ticket Management – Monitor and respond to internal tickets related to vendor onboarding, data corrections, and process blockers in a timely and professional manner.
- Vendor Outreach & Follow-Up – Call or email vendors to collect missing data, resolve blockers, or confirm key information needed to complete onboarding or optimize payment experiences.
- Operational Support – Assist in recurring tasks such as queue monitoring, basic reporting reviews, and documentation of recurring issues.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with Sales, Support, and Operations teams to flag recurring problems, suggest improvements, and help streamline internal processes.
- Contribute to Process Documentation – Help build and maintain process guides, checklists, and templates that enable better scalability and consistency across the team.
About the team:
As a Network Optimization Coordinator at Melio, you will play a critical supporting role within our growing Network team. Your primary focus will be on improving the quality and completeness of vendor data, supporting internal workflows through accurate data entry, responding to escalated Network support tickets, and directly engaging with users to gather and verify essential information.
