Navan has disrupted the corporate Travel, Payment, and Expense market putting the user’s needs always at the center of our solutions. You now have the unique opportunity to become one of the first team members of a brand new venture at Navan that is aiming at disrupting the Meetings & Events industry! In your role, you will have a high degree of flexibility to shape a fast growing product from the ground up, working in a high profile cross-functional team and launching new features at a fast pace.
As a Senior Product Designer you will be responsible for completely transforming how users interact with and experience Meetings & Events management. You understand the importance of cross-functional collaboration, clearly articulate intentionality and design rationale, and drive fast feedback cycles.
What You’ll Do:
- Conceive and craft delightful and intuitive experiences that empower users to manage Meetings & Events
- Be responsible for the roadmap by uncovering opportunities and defining requirements for solutions that balance flexibility, scalability, and ease of use
- Work within a robust design system and help to extend it with patterns that solve new use cases that will scale and fit into the existing component library
- Take your designs all the way to the finish line and into our customer’s hands, launching across all platforms, devices, and channels
- Prototype complete experiences (going beyond screens) to make an improved product and service feel tangible
- Present complex concepts in an easily digestible narrative to influence partners and stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in product design
- Proven track record of high quality and impactful work in a consumer, e-commerce, or B2C products
- An added background in the travel industry is a big plus
- Portfolio of work that demonstrates strong strategic thinking as well as a deep commitment to detail, excellence, and craft
- Working knowledge of design thinking and user-centric practices enabling you to define an innovative vision with a practical understanding of the technological, business and user opportunities and constraints
- A team oriented mindset and believe that designers are facilitators and know the best work is done with a team of diverse perspectives
- A belief that fast cycles of soliciting feedback is the way to continually raise the quality of your work and that excellence is found in the details
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
